Laura has a BD in Sociology and a MD in Communication and Media Studies with a thesis on Italian FOIA: how this tool can help whistleblowers break the silence and report cases of corruption in the workplace.
She works at the Italian chapter of Transparency International assisting whistleblowers that, through the anonymous platform ALAC, report wrongdoings and corruption cases. She has been managing at the same organization FOIA4journalists, a project to support journalists in making FOI requests.
Her main interests are freedom of information, whistleblowing, privacy and human rights protection.
