Every year Privacy International and a growing number of affiliate human rights groups present the Big Brother Awards to government agencies, private companies and individuals who have excelled in the violation of our privacy.
The Big Brother Awards is coordinated through its main site listing all initiatives around the world.
In Italy, the Big Brother Awards events have been historically handled within the national e-privacy conference since 2002 by the Winston Smith Project. Since 2013’s edition, the Hermes Center for Transparency and Digital Human Rights support the organization of the Big Brother Awards in Italy, mostly on technical and advocacy activities.
If you would like to take part in the project, we are looking for smart people interested in communication, campaigning and web design.
